Madman have released the trailer to SNOWTOWN, the film is about the notorious South Australian murder spree of the 1990s. These killing were sometimes referred to as the Bodies in Barrels Murders. There were 12 people killed and the abnormal details of their disposal made the case a media sensation. Some of the bodies were found in the vault of a former bank.
The movie is directed by Justin Kurzel and is his feature debut. Local critics have praised the film for its intensity and extraordinary vision. The film won an audience award at last month’s Adelaide film festival. SNOWTOWN is in Australian cinemas on May 19.
