Things appear to be continuing to progress for the Robocop remake, we’ve seen a flurry of news reports come in recently regarding the film the most recent of which discussed the possibility of Jose Padilha being attached to direct.
Now it appears that a writer has been recruited for the scripting duties of ‘Robocop’ with Josh Zetumer filling the position. It has been reported that Josh Zetumer was the writer for a fourth film in the successful Bourne franchise that was obviously never made, as well as having input into the Dune remake.
With improvement in MGM’s financial position, and now a possible director and writer both having been reported to be working on the project, we might be seeing more of the cyborg cop sooner than anticipated.
