Guillermo del Toro adds another project to the list

Pajiba.com has reported that Guillermo del Toro is producing the film ‘Midnight Delivery’ which has been described as ‘about a man who becomes a drug mule to save his son’s life.’ The script has been written by Neil Cross who has mostly written episodes for the TV series ‘MI-5’ and ‘Luther’. No other details such as cast or possible directors have been announced so far.

‘Midnight Delivery’ is another project on the list of many projects del Toro  is currently attached to, if you look at his IMDB page, there is currently no less than eleven projects ‘In Development’ that he is involved with.

Del Toro recently left the ‘Hobbit’ project which he was onboard to direct at the time, one of the many project he is involved with in development at the moment includes the adaptation of HP Lovecraft’s works ‘At the Mountains of Madness.’ Having read some of Lovecraft’s work in recent years this project is the one I would most like to see released, del Toro’s visual style and unique take on things would be an excellent combination with Lovecraft’s work.

Leith spent most of his formative years growing up on the coastal fringes of Western Australia without a cinema in sight. There he grew up on the wonders of home rentals before relocating to Perth and gaining access to a proper cinematic experience just in time for the Star Wars Special Edition re-releases. From there Leith's love of movies expanded to volunteering on a Star Wars fan film, reviewing films, writing about film news, and attending film and pop-culture related conventions on the other side of the world. Leith's favourite films are too many to mention but all start with the Star Wars saga, Back to the Future, the Dark Knight trilogy, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings and all things Kevin Smith. With an insatiable appetite for all things pop-culture related Leith also has an unhealthy addiction to the world of comics and can often be found buried under a pile of unread back issues madly trying to catch up on a number of titles coming out from mostly DC and Darkhorse.
