Name of Star Wars Disney Attraction Revealed

Who said it only happens in a galaxy far, far away?! Soon it’ll just take a hop over to Disneyland and Disney World to get your Star Wars fix.

Disney’s Star Wars-themed lands may not be open until 2019, but they feel just that bit closer since the announcement of their official name at the Disney D23 Expo on Saturday.

The attraction will be called Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

“Both Star Wars-inspired lands will transport guests to a never-before-seen planet, a remote trading port and one of the last stops before Wild Space, were Star Wars characters and their stories come to life” Disney stated.

“Here guests will find themselves in the middle of the action at two signature attractions: One that lets guests take the control of Millennium Falcon on a customised secret mission, and an epic Star Wars adventure that puts guests in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance”

Guess we better start saving our pennies for a 2019 trip to the USA…!
