Fox has pulled out all the stops to secure the right to be the studio behind Tim Burton’s (Batman, Edward Scissorhands) production of Timur Bekmambetov’s (Wanted, Night/DayWatch) ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER.
The level of effort that Fox has put in to secure the distribution for the film is nothing short of awesome – from bloody footprints leading a path from the carpark to meetings and bloodied axes and silver bullets strewn around the offices.
With the level of effort that Fox has gone to to get this project off the ground, I hope that the filmmakers put in as much effort as the studio has.
Word is that it will be in 3D. Hopefully shot in 3D and not post-processed (ala Tim Burtons’ Alice in Wonderland).
Fox are wanting to get this out for a 2012 release.
