Michael John Henry – BLAME

A few days ago I posted up my interview with two of the cast of the Aussie Film BLAME, Damien de Montemas and Ashley Zukerman well now I have my interview with the Director Michael John Henry. This is Michael’s feature film debut. We only had a short 6 minute chat, but it was great to see how enthusiastic he is about his film and the reception it has had in many film festivals world wide.

Michael John Henry graduated from the Victoria College of the Arts (VCA) school of Film and Television in 1998 and has written and directed the internationally successful short film, ‘Without a Sound’ (BBC British Short Film Festival, Australian Selection: Student Academy Awards 1999). ‘The Shallow End’ and ‘En Route’ followed to critical acclaim and wide festival screenings. Michael has taught numerous classes in screenwriting at CAE Melbourne and was the inauguaral graduate from the VCA: Masters of Screenwriting program. ‘Blame’ is his debut feature film.
