Another new trailer tonight, this one comes from CBS Films, from the director of Phoebe in Wonderland Daniel Barnz, is a re-imagining of “Beauty and the Beast” they have called this one Beastly. I remember seeing a teaser via MTV a while back and thought here we go another yawn fest.. But suprisingly enough after watching the full trailer it seems there could be something there.
Vanessa Hudgens is coming off the shocker of a movie bandslam, who if I didnt see it for free would have gladly asked for my money back so lets hope this script and her acting is a tad better in this one. Mary-Kate Olsen is also back with us after a couple of years last gracing us on the big screen with The Wackness and lastly the little known Alex Pettyfer, I remember seeing him in Stormbreaker next to Mickey Rouke and also in Wild Child, seems hes decided to get a tad darker in this film going from the upperclass rich kid to the “Beastly” character! So I’m actually looking forward to seeing how this film goes..
