Universal Pictures presents us with the Trailer to Zac Efron’s next Film CHARLIE ST. CLOUD. Adapted from the book The Death and Life of Charle St. Cloud by Ben Sherwood comes a story of tragedy, loss and love.
The Trailer looks pretty good, seeing Zac in something a bit different then a teen comedy or Musical looks great to me! Theres been great buzz around his performance in “Me and Orson Welles” which hits Aussie screens in July, so thoroughly looking forward to this one. Also a nice supporting cast including Amanda Crew(Sex Drive), Kim Basinger(Cellular) and Ray Liotta(Observe and Report).
Young superstar Zac Efron stars in a romantic fantasy adapted from the acclaimed novel. The eponymous hero of Charlie St Cloud is a young man overcome by grief at the death of his younger brother Sam during a tragic accident which he is responsible for. Charlie dies too for a brief moment but is brought back to life by the skill of a paramedic. From that moment on, Charlie makes a sacrificial decision to live his life in the past. Then, a girl comes into Charlie’s life and he must choose between keeping a promise he made to Sam, or going after the girl he loves
CHARLIE ST. CLOUD hits American Cinemas on the 30th July and unfortunately us Aussies have to wait until September 23rd.
