Charlize Theron’s ATOMIC BLONDE trailer (Red Band/NSFW) dropped a couple of days back and if you missed it, don’t. Directed by David Leitch, known for his uncredited work on JOHN WICK (that a thing, we promise), this is kinetic, cinematic goodness. Theron brings her Furiosa and is kicking ass and taking names.
ATOMIC BLONDE is adapted from the Oni Press graphic novel The Coldest City. It features the talents of James McAvoy, John Goodman, Til Schweiger, Eddie Marsan, Sofia Boutella, and Toby Jones.
So what’s it about? The big book of blurbs says: “The crown jewel of Her Majesty’s Secret Intelligence Service, Agent Lorraine Broughton (Charlize Theron) is equal parts spycraft, sensuality and savagery, willing to deploy any of her skills to stay alive on her impossible mission.
