After having signed the beautiful Gal Gadot (of Fast and Furious fame) on to play Wonder Woman, it seems Jason Momoa is now in talks to star in the upcoming Warner Bros movie.
Other than for his lead role in “Conan the Barbarian”, Jason is best known for playing Dothraki war-lord Khal Drogo in the first season of Game of Thrones. A role which was very popular with the fans – especially among the female viewers.
So which role is he negotiating? While that has not been disclosed so far, it has been speculated that he might play Doomsday, the Kryptonian killing machine, or Martian Manhunter, a shape-shifting telepathic alien that was one of the key members of the Justice League.
This isn’t his first time he has been in talks to play a comic book alien. Momoa was the front runner in playing the green-skinned alien warrior, Drax the Destroyer, in Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” before losing out to Dave Bautista.
If the fan reaction to his potential involvement is anything to go by, Warner Bros better sign him up quick, as it has been nothing but positive. Unlike when news broke of Ben Affleck playing Batman.
There are whispers of another exciting “negotiation” with a big male actor, so make sure to keep checking back here as we will bring you all the latest casting news.
Batman Vs Superman is due in Cinemas on the 17th of July 2015. Yes, sadly we really have to wait that long.
