Batman Vs Superman adds Cyborg

Reports have surfaced this morning that Zack Snyder’s Batman Vs Superman has founds it’s Cyborg, aka Victor Stone.

Ray Fischer, who is mostly known as a stage actor, is in negotiations to take on the character. While the role may not be a significant one in this film, it opens the door for him to appear in a bigger capacity in the upcoming Justice League movie.

For those not yet familiar with the story of the Victor Stone/Cyborg, he is a high school athlete who gets caught in a S.T.A.R. Labs explosion. Following this event, he’s given bionic abilities that lead him to become part of the Justice League. It has been speculated that Batman Vs Superman will show his early transformation from athlete to Cyborg.

Fisher joins a host of actors, including Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Jason Momoa, Laurence Fishburne, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey and Tao Okamoto.

Batman Vs Superman is set for a May 2016 release.
