Bridget Jones’s Baby

Bridget Jones’s Baby

Having wrapped up filming, one of the main stars of Bridget Jones talks a bit about what we can expect from the third instalment.

Recently, Renee Zellweger has revealed that three different endings were shot, keeping the entire cast in the dark about who is the real father of the baby. She explains “It’s kind of brilliant. None of the cast knows who fathered Bridget’s baby or who she’ll choose as her beau. The plan is to keep us all in the dark, right up to the premiere.”

Zellweger also addressed how her character has changed since the last movie; “She’s a bit more mature and has moved on, as we all have. The vital part of the now 43-year-old character hasn’t changed at all, even after so many years. I think that’s her essence, really. All of us do things in our personalities that we don’t outgrow.”

The story follows on from its twelve year break, where we learn that Bridget is now pregnant and engaged to the “man of her dreams”, Marc Darcy. The only obstacle she faces is finding out which of her leading men is the real father of her baby.

Bridget Jones’s Baby will be released in Australian cinemas on the 15th of September 2016.

Best known as the international woman of mystery and the Chandler Bing among her friends. Monika grew up in a movie loving family in Europe, which meant she was not subjected to much censorship.  Her love of all things horror and action began very early on as a result.  Despite it all, she is not as big of an oddball as everyone (including family) originally predicted.   Thinks the term "chick flick" should be banned worldwide.
