There have been several casting rumours surfacing over the past few days beginning with Clint Eastwood’s next project ‘J. Edgar’ which is currently in pre-production. As the name suggests this is a biopic on FBI director J. Edgar Hoover, with Leonardo DiCaprio (‘Inception’) in the lead role, Armie Hammer (‘The Social Network’) as Clyde Tolson, and Judi Dench (‘Casino Royale’, ‘Pride and Prejudice’) as Anne Marie Hoover. It is now being reported that Josh Lucas (‘Poseidon’, ‘Stealth’, and ‘American Psycho’) has been cast in the role of Charles Lindbergh a renowned aviator.
With both a strong cast and director as well as exploring such an interesting historical figure ‘J. Edgar’ is one to look out for.
‘Dibbuk Box’ is a horror film currently in pre-production with Ole Bornedal attached to direct and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (‘Watchmen’, ‘The Losers’) in the lead role. It has been reported that Kyra Sedgwick best known for her role in the TV series ‘The Closer’ has been cast in the lead female role. ‘Dibbuk Box’ is currently scheduled for a release in late 2011.
