Channing Tatum boasts good looks and a set of abs that will leave you wondering ‘maybe I need a new personal trainer’. More importantly, his acting career has been sky high with film after film hitting cinemas, from acting as a male stripper (MAGIC MIKE) to saving the President (WHITE HOUSE DOWN).
The third installment of GI JOE is in full swing with Jon Chu directing and Evan Daugherty in the writers chair (SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN). Both are working together to ensure the screenplay is up to scratch and the production goes smoothly. Chu says there will be “lots of surprises… it’s going to be a really fun movie. We’re taking it in a whole new direction. Taking it to another level with this one.”
Apparently there’s a mix of returning characters and newcomers. When asked if Channing Tatum will be back after he was killed off in the last film, Chu said “You never know. Storm Shadow died in the first one and came back to life in the second one, and then other characters have died and never come back. The GI JOE world, the best thing about it is you never know who’s coming back and who’s not.”
It seems as though they are definitely working on getting Tatum back into the franchise. I’m sure we will soon find out if he returns or not.
