Comedian Hamish Blake stars in ‘Two Little Boys’

We all know Hamish and Andy as a duo with their own radio talk show, successful television shows (the “Caravan of Courage” and “Gap Year” series) now one of the boys has completed a solo project. Hamish has dipped his toes into the world of acting, but will he be able to break out of his presentational style and show off a new skill in the upcoming feature Two Little Boys?

Here’s the full synopsis by NZ Film: An irreverent comedy about Nige, his best mate Deano and their riotous misadventures as they struggle with their imploding long-term friendship which is put under pressure by an unfortunate incident involving a hot meat pie, a ginger cat and the untimely death of a Scandinavian soccer star.

The film was shot earlier this year in Southland, New Zealand. Funded by New Zealand Film Production Fund, Hopscotch has signed on to distribute the film in both New Zealand and Australia. Hamish stars alongside Bret McKenzie who has worked with Peter Jackson in The Lord Of The Rings and more recently The Hobbit. Hamish has acted in a few  roles in TV in the past, but this film sees him star as a lead actor. The pressure is on to see how comedian Hamish Blake performs on the big screen. It hits cinemas this week, November 15th.
