Morgan Spurlock the man behind the Documentries such as ‘Super Size Me’, ‘The Greatest Movie Ever Sold’ and the award winning TV Show ’30 Days’ has just premiered the trailer to his latest documentry ‘Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan’s Hope’ which is based around everything Comic-Con San Diego the worlds biggest Pop Culture convention.
Comic-Con started off as a small comic book convention back in the early 1970’s with about 500 attendee’s and is now touted as the mecca for Pop Culture fans world wide with 130,000 visiting the San Diego Convention Centre in 2010. Accessreel.com’s resident writer Leith attends the convention most years with sheer jealousy from myself and just blows my mind with the stories he tells me and the people he sees and meets, you can check out his 2011 Report here.
This time around Morgan is looking into what makes Comic-Con what it is and why fans flock to it year after year. You can check out the trailer below, no Australian release date as yet but our American friends get to see it on the 6th April.
