THE SOPRANOS was a hugely successful American crime drama TV Series whose premise revolved around a fictional New Jersey-based, Italian-American Mobster Tony Soprano. The TV Series portrayed the difficulties that he faced as he tried to balance his home life and his criminal organisation. These were often highlighted during his therapy sessions with his psychiatrist. THE SOPRANOS featured family members, mafia colleagues, and rivals in prominent roles and story arcs. THE SOPRANOS was widely regarded as one of the greatest television series of all time, winning a multitude of awards, including Peabody Awards for its first two season, 21 Primetime Emmy Awards and five Golden Globe Awards. MICHAEL IMPERIOLI (Christopher Moltisanti)
MICHAEL IMPERIOLI has been nominated for two Golden Globe Awards as well as for five Emmy Awards for his work as Christopher Moltisanti on THE SOPRANOS; he won one Emmy, for the show’s fifth season in 2004. In addition to his role on THE SOPRANOS , he has appeared in a number of feature films, that include “Goodfellas”, “Jungle Fever”, “Bad Boys”, “The Basketball Diaries”, “Clockers”, “Dead Presidents”, “Lean On Me”, “I Shot Andy Warhol”, “Last Man Standing”, “Shark Tale”, “High Roller: The Stu Unger Story” and “Summer Of Sam”, which he also co-write and co-produced. In addition, he also wrote a number of episodes of THE SOPRANOS. He is also the lead singer/guitarist for a rock band named La Dolce Vita. Besides playing the lead in the ABC-TV show “Detroit 1-8-7”, he guest starred in Mario Batali’s Food Network TV show “Molto Mario”.
STEVEN SCHIRRIPA (Bobby ’Bacala’ Baccalieri)
STEVEN SCHIRRIPA is an actor, producer, author and voice artist. He is best known for portraying Bobby ‘Nacala’ Baccalieri on THE SOPRANOS and recently portrayed Angel Uriel in Fox TV Series “Lucifer” and the recurring role in the ABC family series “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” and the voice of Roberto in “Open Season”. He also produced and hosted two investigation for The Discovery Channels: “Karma’s A B*tch!” and “Nothing Personal”. His breakthrough role was in THE SOPRANOS (2000), playing Tony Soprano’s dense but lovable mobster brother-in-law Bobby Baccallieri for five seasons. His many television appearances have included “Angel”, “Casino Cinema”, “Star Trek: Enterprise”, “Joey”, “Law And Order SVU”, “My Wife And Kids”, “The King Of Queens” and “Aqua Teen Hunger Force”, and a cameo appearance alongside Frank Vincent in “Stargate Atlantis”. He played Sonny Rosselli in “A Poet Long Ago”, a short film written by Pete Hamill and directed by Bob Giraldi, which gained entry into a number of film festivals in 2013. He recently played Det. Anthony Abetemarco, an investigator who works with assistant district attorney Erin Reagan on the CBS series “Blue Bloods”, followed by played Joey on the ABC series “Black Box”, voice work on “American Dad!” And as Vito in the film adaptation “Jersey Boys”, directed by Clint Eastwood. He will play Father Ed in “Chasing Yesterday”, a film by writer/director Joseph Pernice, alongside THE SOPRANOS co-stars Michael Imperioli and John Ventimiglia. He has written a series of books about “goombas”, a slang for stereotypical Italian-American tough guys and often denoting connections to the Mafia carrying his persona over into real life with a comedic twist – they included “A Goomba’s Guide to Life” in 2002. He followed up with “The Goomba’s Book of Love”, co-authored with Charles Fleming and “The Goomba Diet: Large and Loving It” in 2006, an in 2013 “Big Daddy’s Rules: Raising Daughters Is Tougher Than I Look”, co-authored by Philip Lerman.
VINCENT PASTORE (“Big Pussy’ Bonpensiero)
VINCENT PASTORE made a career of portraying Italian American mafiosi in film and television. He began with small parts in the 1990s, in films such as “Goodfellas” and “Carlito’s Way”, followed by bigger roles in “The Jerky Boys: The Movie” with Alan Arkin, the HBO telemovie “Gotti” and his biggest role to date in THE SOPRANOS, where he played the character Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero. His character was murdered in the finale of season 2, but he would make a few more appearances over the next few years in dream and flashback sequences. He went on to appear in “Two Family House”, “Under Hellgate Bridge”, “Riding In Cars with Boys”, “Witness To The Mob”, “Serving Sara”, “Shark Tale”, “The Family”, “Once Upon A Time In Brooklyn”, “Zootopia”, “A Brooklyn State Of Mind”, “The Last Don II”, Guy Ritchie’s “Revolver”. His television credits include “Blue Bloods”, “Chicago” and in “General Hospital” playing a mobster Maximus Giambetti.
