2014 was an such incredible year in film I had to push back publishing my Top Ten a couple of weeks because I actually missed a few, so after I sourced those films I finally managed to get my list together. Take a look below at my Top 10, some honourable mentions plus some of the terrible movies of 2014.

So there you have it, my top ten of the year! Nightcrawler proved to be one of Jake Gyllenhaal’s bests performances and well just an incredible movie so it had to come in at Number 1.

Darran loves watching movies, listening to movies and generally everything movies which is mainly the reason why he started accessreel.com and roped some friends in to help him.. Favorite Films: Star Wars, Lost in Translation, Grosse Point Blank, Shawshank Redemption and any Kevin Smith or Tarantino.
