You can be excused if you thought Fast and the Furious 6 was the last one in the series. However, with it being the highest grossing movie in the entire series, Hollywood is not yet ready to say goodbye to the franchise. Can we really blame them?
Fast and Furious 7 officially started shooting in Atlanta this week, with fan favourites Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, and Paul Walker returning to reprise their roles. This time joining them are well known martial art actor Tony Jaa, and action go to man, Jason Statham. Earlier in the week, Vin Diesel has confirmed Hollywood’s worst kept secret, veteran actor Kurt Russell has signed on for not only Fast and Furious 7, but 8 as well. Yes, it already looks like there will be a Fast 8.
Today news broke that former model and Oscar nominated actor, Djimond Hounsou has also joined the action packed franchise.
With a cast like that, there is little doubt this movie will be another money making machine for Hollywood.
We will keep you up to date with any further developments.
