Edward Furlong Returns As John Connor

Edward Furlong Returns As John Connor

The San Diego Comic-Con TERMINATOR: DARK FATE panel revealed some unexpected casting news. During his video contribution to the panel, James Cameron coolly announced Edward Furlong’s return in DARK FATE as John Connor.

This is the first time Furlong has appeared in the franchise since TERMINATOR 2 way back in 1991. There have been several Terminator flicks since then, with various actors taking the role of John Connor over the years. However, all of these instalments in the series will be disregarded in this latest film, with DARK FATE being a direct sequel to T2.

Whether Furlong will be a key player or a cameo is still to be seen (he does not appear in the official teaser trailer). Regardless, fans are excited to see a long overdue T2 cast reunion.

Sian's love for movies spawned from having a tight mother whose generosity stretched only to hiring movies once a week for entertainment. As a pre-teen Sian spent more pocket money then she earned on cinema tickets and thus sought a job at the cinema. Over the next decade she rose to be one of the greats in her backwater, six-screen cinema complex, zooming through the ranks from candy bar wench with upselling superpowers, to pasty projectionist, to a manager rocking a pencil skirt. Sian went on to study Journalism at university though feels her popcorn shovelling days were far more educational
