Eliza Taylor (The 100) is set to star in the new romantic comedy It Only Takes A Night.
It Only Takes A Night follows four best friends on a girl’s night out, who end up on a path none of them expected and find out it really does only take one night to change your life.
Most recognisable for her role as role as Clarke Griffin in The 100, Taylor has an impressive list of screen credits, and will also bring this experience to the project as an Executive Producer.
“I am so humbled to have the opportunity to produce a film that not only elevates the female voice but showcases Australian actors and film makers,” said Taylor.
A stellar ensemble cast will star alongside Taylor, including George Pullar (Coyote, Moon Rock for Monday, Fighting Season), Sana’a Shaik (2067, Netflix’s upcoming Dive Club), Arielle Carver-O’Neill (Ash vs Evil Dead, Ash Vs Evil Dead, Worst Year of My Life, Again!), Charles Grounds (Crazy Rich Asians, Baz Luhrmann’s Untitled Elvis Project and Jaime Ureta (Harrow, Here Out West), with Western Australian Academy of Performing Art’s ‘Ana Ika making her feature debut.
Set in London, It Only Takes A Night makes a statement through four female characters who learn to own their worth, redefine their destinies and support each other despite their differences.
Callan Durlik will make his directing debut, having also penned the script. Durlik comes off the back of high praise from the comedy legend John Cleese for his last feature script, The Naked Wanderer, in which Cleese starred.
Produced by Callan Durlik and Josh Horneman of Rookies Ambush (The Naked Wanderer), Megan Wynn of Wynn Media (The Invisible Man; The Mountain Between Us) and Kara Pisconeri of Star Shadow Media, filming will commence in early May in Perth, Western Australia.
