Fans of the Fast and the Furious franchise have finally something to smile about, after the shocking death of Paul Walker in November.

All involved with the film seem to be ready to try to move on and finish the film. Paul’s co-star Vin Diesel,  announced the new official released date today on Facebook. Along with the picture included above and  another heart warming message about his friend and co-star.

Vin wrote the following statement;  “The last scene we filmed together…
There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we’ve come…
Fast and Furious 7 will be released…
April 10th 2015!
P.s. He’d want you to know first…”

Fast & Furious 7 was previously set to be released on July 11, 2014.   Vin’s announcement finally put all those pesky gossip to rest about the film shutting down completley.  Fans will indeed get one last chance to see Paul in the role that made him a beloved actor.
