Hitting the internet yesterday is the trailer for the upcoming Zombie flick WARM BODIES, the best thing about this film is that we have never seen a zombie movie much like this before… so its definitely quite refreshing and it looks brilliant. Directed by Jonathan Levine who also penned the screenplay was behind the camera for such films as last years ’50/50′ with Seth Rogan and Joseph Gordon-Levitt plus the fantastic 2008 film ‘The Wackness’. Warm Bodies stars Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: First Class, Clash of the Titans), Teresea Palmer (I am Number Four) and John Malkovich (Red, Ripley’s Game).
A funny new twist on a classic love story, WARM BODIES is a poignant tale about the power of human connection. After a zombie epidemic, R (a highly unusual zombie) encounters Julie (a human survivor), and rescues her from a zombie attack. Julie sees that R is different from the other zombies, and as the two form a special relationship in their struggle for survival, R becomes increasingly more human — setting off an exciting, romantic, and often comical chain of events that begins to transform the other zombies and maybe even the whole lifeless world.
Warm Bodies lands in American cinemas on the 1st of Feb 2013 and we see it here via Icon Films on the 11th April 2013. Check out the trailer below.
