THOR:RAGNAROK is very much about renewing the Asgardian hero and his world, according to this behind-the-scenes featurette from Marvel Entertainment. First-time Marvel Cinematic Universe director, Taika Waititi (HUNT FOR THE WILDERPEOPLE) talks about bringing a fresh perspective and new energy to the third Thor film. Star Chris Hemsworth speaks in similar terms. There will be destruction of the old before the regrowth and for that we have Cate Blanchett as Hela, the Asgardian goddess of Death. The featurette has another hit of Hela doing her thing, as well as several new moments of Tessa Thompson as the new kick-ass warrior Valkyrie.
Tom Hiddleston’s Loki will be back and Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk joins in the fun. Idris Elba, Karl Urban, Jeff Goldblum and Anthony Hopkins are also along for the ride.This new offering from the MCU looks to contain the action and spectacle we expect and more of Taika Waititi’s trademark comedic moments.
