Fox and Bay, together again.

Fox and Bay, together again.

Things continue to progress for the new Michael Bay produced Ninja Turtles film and this most recent piece of news is a little surprising. Michael Bay and Megan Fox had quite the public dispute following the release of ‘Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen’ after which Fox didn’t return for ‘Transformers 3’.

Well it seems bridges have been rebuilt to some degree with a recent update to Bay’s personal website as follows;

TMNT: we are bringing Megan Fox back into the family!

Michael Bay

It is now being reported that Fox will be starring as April O’Neil in the new film. O’Neil has appeared in both TMNT comics, films, and TV series, the character has been reinvented slightly across different incarnations however she’s always a good friend of the turtles.

So there you have it, it seems Michael Bay can forgive transgressions of the past, personally I’ve never been a fan of the actress, but her performance in Judd Apatow’s ‘This is 40’ is one of the more likeable performances of her career.

How do fans feel about Fox stepping in as O’Neil in the controversial film? Let us know what you think!

Leith spent most of his formative years growing up on the coastal fringes of Western Australia without a cinema in sight. There he grew up on the wonders of home rentals before relocating to Perth and gaining access to a proper cinematic experience just in time for the Star Wars Special Edition re-releases. From there Leith's love of movies expanded to volunteering on a Star Wars fan film, reviewing films, writing about film news, and attending film and pop-culture related conventions on the other side of the world. Leith's favourite films are too many to mention but all start with the Star Wars saga, Back to the Future, the Dark Knight trilogy, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings and all things Kevin Smith. With an insatiable appetite for all things pop-culture related Leith also has an unhealthy addiction to the world of comics and can often be found buried under a pile of unread back issues madly trying to catch up on a number of titles coming out from mostly DC and Darkhorse.
