John Wick 3: Parabellum is in production but it’s still adding more star power to the already brilliant cast.
It’s been confirmed that Oscar-winning actresses Halle Berry and Angelica Houston are joining the cast alongside Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane, and Lance Reddick. It’s been reported that Berry will play the female lead named “Sofia” and Houston will be “The Director”.
Chad Stahelski returns to helm this latest installment in the franchise, which is said to be the last one involving Keanu Reeves’ character on the big screen.
Parabellum will open with Wick on the run in New York after he was “excommunicated” and had a $14 million bounty placed on his head as a result of conducting business at the Continental Hotel. Halley Berry’s character is reported as being the only one Wick can rely on, however, this has yet to be confirmed by the film makers. What we do know for sure is that John Wick 3: Parabellum is set to be the biggest and bloodiest installment in this franchise.
John Wick 3: Parabellum is set for May 2019 release. Yes, even us Aussies will get to see the final chapter at the same time as the rest of the world. The studio has confirmed an Australian release date for the 16th of May. Let’s hope they won’t change their minds.
