KONG: SKULL ISLAND has lost actors Michael Keaton and JK Simmons while star Tom Hiddleston remains. The reason appears to be scheduling conflicts, which occurred when the Universal and Legendary Pictures production had to be pushed back to the end of this year. The project is directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts from a script written by John Gatins and Max Borenstein, and is set for release in 3D and 3D Imax versions in 2017.
