KOTD is the Sundance smash hit that takes vampire eroticism to all the new levels of gorific depravity – a double feature for true horror aficionados!

Loren Johnson is a major home-grown talent and his debut feature film is a taut, thought provoking psychological thriller–incredible performances, brilliant cinematography, this is an extremely accomplished film from a filmmaker on the rise.
JUGULAR (OFFICIAL PERTH PREMIERE) JJ DeCeglie’s debut feature is a ballsy, brutal and brilliant indie shocker that’ll keep you on the edge of your seat from the first frame to the last. It announces JJ DeCeglie as a major new filmmaking force.

To finish off Monster Fest we’ve chosen one of the most spectacular films from the new wave of Aussie genre – Sam Barrett’s ode to Italian giallo, SORORAL. Sam Barrett lives and breathes genre cinema but this film is much more than mere homage, it is a serious work of art. Gorgeous cinematography, with standout performances from the likes of Perth’s Amanda Woodhams and Liam Graham, and with a cast and crew made up almost exclusively of WA talent, SORORAL is truly one of the most unique Australian films of the year – an absolute must see!  Join us for a CLOSING NIGHT CELEBRATION featuring DJ Tyranny, a glass of Howling Wolves Wine on entry, Siena’s pizzas (all whist stocks last) plus a Q&A session with filmmaker Sam Barrett following the screening.
