The Luna Outdoor program is switching it up very rapidly…well, right now.
Thursday (January 30) sees the return of UNCHARTED WATERS a documentary feature about the life of Australian surf legend Wayne Lynch. Catch a solid film about the man who many believe was responsible for a quantum leap in surfing in the 1960s. (Review here)
Friday (January 31): THE STONE ROSES: MADE OF STONE incorporates never-seen-before material of the band’s musical history, the personal experiences of those touched by their music, and unparalleled access to the record-breaking sell-out concerts which took place in summer 2012. This is the definitive record of the definitive band of the past 25 years.
Saturday (February 1). The movie HER asks if it is possible to fall in love with an intelligent, sentient, computer program? Director Spike Jonze says, mostly yes. Joaquin Phoenix acts the hell out of this out-of-the-ordinary sci-fi romance. (Review here).
Like we said, the Luna Outdoor program is shifting with mongoose-like speed. If you’d like to book a ticket for great cinema in the heart of charming Leederville, then hit up their website.
