Perth fans of writer/director Guy Ritchie can see his new movie THE GENTLEMEN, under the stars at the Luna Outdoor Cinema in Leederville. Ritchie’s new film is a sophisticated action-comedy, featuring an all-star cast that includes Charlie Hunnam, Henry Golding, Michelle Dockery, Jeremy Strong, Eddie Marsan, Colin Farrell, and Hugh Grant.
THE GENTLEMEN follows American expat Mickey Pearson (Matthew McConaughey) who built a highly profitable marijuana empire in London. When word gets out that he’s looking to cash out of the business forever it triggers plots, schemes, bribery and blackmail in an attempt to steal his domain out from under him.
It is made in the same spirit as his films LOCK,STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS and SNATCH. Critical response points to this new movie likely to satisfy fans of those earlier Ritchie movies.
