ANT-MAN fans do a little jig: Disney has announced it’s bringing forward the film’s 2015 release date, meaning the 2015 U.S summer theatrical season will be EPIC!!
Originally set for release on November 6 2015, Marvel must be feeling organisationally optimistic; promising the flick will hit American theatres three months earlier on July 31 2015 (don’t worry, we’re digging around to find out if us Aussies will enjoy the earlier release date too…stay tuned!)
Admittedly the whole ANT-MAN idea did not immediately appeal to me (it sounds icky!), but directed and co-written by Edgar Wright (HOT FUZZ, THE WORLD’S END) how can it go wrong?
Afterall, this is the director that is affectionately called ‘Edgar get it Wright’ by colleagues due to his perfectionist tendencies…
With the addition of ANT-MAN, 2015’s American summer looks to be one crazy theatrical ride, better start saving your pocket money now! Check out the stack of big releases pencilled in for the season:
THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON – May,
TERMINATOR 5 – June
BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN – July,
PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES – July
In addition, STAR WARS VII and JURASSIC PARK 4 are expected to take summer slots.
I know we shouldn’t wish our life away, but seriously!! With that release schedule how can I not?!
