Comedy greats Monty Python haven’t performed live since 1980 at the Hollywood Bowl, so when the five surviving Python members announced that the circus was set to fly again tickets for their first show sold out in 43.5 seconds. Recently it was announced that the final night of their London performances will be the Pythons’ last ever live performance together. The historic final night of the Monty Python Live (mostly) show from London’s 02 Arena is now going to be screened at Cinema Paradiso & Luna on SX from August 6.
Australian fans have the opportunity of joining in on one of the most anticipated live events ever captured for the cinema screen, in glorious High Definition. John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin will once again take to the stage and perform some of Monty Python’s greatest hits with modern, topical, Pythonesque twists, including material that’s never been performed live. It’s time to get down from your Larch Tree, collect your ex-Norwegian Blue parrot and silly-walk down to Cinema Paradiso and Luna SX for a night of classic comedy.
