New guests announced for Supanova Sydney & Perth 2018!

We shared earlier this morning on Facebook that Richard Dreyfuss will be attending Supanova Comic-Con & Gaming Expo’s to Sydney & Perth this June BUT we also have some additional guests that have been announced also including one I may have squealed out loud a bit about. Take a look below. 

Eliza Taylor, is an Australian actress. She is best known for her role as Janae Timmins on the Australian soap opera Neighbours (2005–08) and for her main role as Clarke Griffin on The CW series The 100 (2014–present).

Kathleen Turner, is an American film and stage actress and director. Known for her distinctive husky voice, Turner has won two Golden Globe Awards and has been nominated for an Academy Award. Turner came to fame during the 1980s, after roles in Body Heat (1981), The Man With Two Brains (1983), Crimes of Passion (1984), Romancing the Stone (1984), and Prizzi’s Honor (1985), the latter two earning her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress. In the later 1980s and early 1990s, Turner had roles in The Accidental Tourist (1988), The War of the Roses (1989), Serial Mom (1994) and Peggy Sue Got Married (1986), for which she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress.

Turner later had roles in The Virgin Suicides (1999), Baby Geniuses (1999), and Beautiful (2000), as well as guest-starring on the NBC sitcom Friends as Chandler Bing’s cross-dressing father Charles Bing, and in the third season of Showtime’s Californication as Sue Collini, the jaded, sex-crazed owner of a talent agency. Turner has also done considerable work as a voice actress, namely as Jessica Rabbit in Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988), as well as Monster House (2006), and the television series The Simpsons and King of the Hill.

Richard Dreyfuss is an American actor best known for starring in popular films during the 1970s through 1990s, including American Graffiti, Jaws, Stand by Me, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Down and Out in Beverly Hills, The Goodbye Girl, Always, and Mr. Holland’s Opus.

Dreyfuss won the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1977 for The Goodbye Girl, and was nominated in 1995 for Mr. Holland’s Opus. He has also won a Golden Globe Award, a BAFTA Award, and was nominated in 2002 for Screen Actors Guild Awards in the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series and Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries categories.

Juliana Harkavy is known for portraying Rebecca in Dolphin Tale, Jessie in To Write Love on her Arms, and Alisha in the television series The Walking Dead. Her roles include a starring role in the horror film Last Shift, and a reprise of her role as Rebecca in Dolphin Tale 2. She is currently a series regular on The CW superhero series Arrow, portraying Dinah Drake / Black Canary.

Ian McDiarmid is an Olivier and Tony award-winning Scottish character actor and director. He has appeared in 47 films since 1976. Internationally, he is most famous for his role as Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious in the Star Wars film series.

Rosario Isabel Dawson made her feature film debut in the 1995 independent drama Kids. Her subsequent film roles include He Got Game (1998), Josie and the Pussycats (2001), Men in Black II (2002), 25th Hour (2005), Rent (2005), Sin City (2005), Death Proof (2007), Seven Pounds (2008), Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010), Unstoppable (2010), and Top Five (2014). Dawson has also provided voice-over work for Disney and DC.

For her role in Rent, Dawson won the Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress – Motion Picture; for her role in Top Five, she was nominated for the Critics’ Choice Movie Award for Best Actress in a Comedy.

Dawson currently portrays Claire Temple in five of the Marvel/Netflix shows: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders.

Matt Ryan is known for voicing Edward Kenway in the Ubisoft video game Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and portraying John Constantine in NBC’s Constantine, The CW’s Arrowverse, as well as voicing the character in the 2017 film Justice League Dark and the CW Seed Arrowverse web series Constantine: City of Demons.

Summer Lyn Glau is best known for her roles in science fiction and fantasy television series; as River Tam in Firefly (2002) and its continuation film Serenity (2005), as Tess Doerner in The 4400 (2005–2007), as Cameron / Allison Young in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (2008–2009), as Bennett Halverson in Dollhouse (2009–2010), as Skylar Adams in Alphas (2011–2012) and as Isabel Rochev / Ravager in Arrow (2013–2014).

David Harold Yost is an American actor and producer. He is best known for portraying Billy Cranston in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie, and Power Rangers Zeo.

Karan Ashley is an American actress, and game show host. She is best known as Aisha Campbell, the second Yellow Power Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. In 1992, she was a member of the short-lived girl group K.R.U.S.H, who contributed a song to the soundtrack of Mo’ Money.
