Nicholas Sparks’ New film Adaptation

Nicholas Sparks’ New film Adaptation

If you like soppy love stories and films with good looking actors whose love for each other seems unimaginable, you’ll be happy to hear about the new adaptation by famous author Nicholas Sparks.

The new adaptation to Sparks’ increasingly large collection is THE BEST OF ME. If you’re anything like me, you own all the adaptations on DVD and his books and cannot wait for this films release. If you get dragged along to these tear jerkers you may be in a little surprise when you realise this chick flick is more in depth than first imagined. Don’t get me wrong though, it is still definitely a chick flick.

A pair of high school sweethearts reunite after many years after a strange request in their small hometown. This is a second chance love story, and a sweet one at that.

THE BEST OF ME is directed by Michael Hoffman (A MID SUMMER NIGHTS DREAM, ONE FINE DAY) and Michelle Monaghan (SOURCE CODE< GONE BABY GONE) has already been cast as Amanda, the female lead. I wonder who will play her love interest, Dawson?

The adaptation will be released October 17, 2014.

Stacey's favourite films include: Titanic (1997), Cast Away (2000), Moulin Rouge (2001), The Notebook (2004), Kill Bill vol.1 and 2 (2003, 2004), Ruby Sparks (2012) and the list goes on.
