Nitro Circus movie is coming!

Nitro Circus is coming to cinemas for the first time and it’s only just over a month away! The film will be released in 3D and will be screened for one week only. Check out the full press release from Universal after the jump.

For the sports adventure troupe known as Nitro Circus, no dream is too out-there, no idea is too high-risk and no never-before-seen stunt is too hilariously impossible-sounding to attempt.  They laugh at gravity as they somersault across skyscrapers, merrily fly buses off cliffs, gleefully morph their bodies into human torpedoes, and generally aim to have more fearless fun than anyone else on the planet.

And now, following the incredible success of the troupe’s live shows comes NITRO CIRCUS THE MOVIE, as never seen before 3D!

NITRO CIRCUS THE MOVIE 3D is a rollicking history of how this madcap band of no-limits adrenaline addicts are pioneering the territory where action sports and entertainment collide.  Under the stewardship of the world’s greatest action sports athlete Travis Pastrana, a true daredevil who serves as master-of ceremonies and ringleader to this group of intrepid, fearless, and inventive risk-takers, the movie unfolds their ramps-to-riches story. In glorious 3D, the film becomes a “you-are-there” showcase of the Circus’s most hair-raising and barrier-shattering stunts.  Building up to their big dream of conquering Vegas, the circus members pilot all manner of machines – from rally cars, dirt bikes and monster trucks to their own zany contraptions – into situations that would leave others shaking in a pool of sweat . . . yet they meet head on as irresistible challenges.

High Risk.  High Octane.  And No Safety Nets Allowed.

NITRO CIRCUS THE MOVIE 3D in cinemas for ONE WEEK ONLY from November 15

Leith spent most of his formative years growing up on the coastal fringes of Western Australia without a cinema in sight. There he grew up on the wonders of home rentals before relocating to Perth and gaining access to a proper cinematic experience just in time for the Star Wars Special Edition re-releases. From there Leith's love of movies expanded to volunteering on a Star Wars fan film, reviewing films, writing about film news, and attending film and pop-culture related conventions on the other side of the world. Leith's favourite films are too many to mention but all start with the Star Wars saga, Back to the Future, the Dark Knight trilogy, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings and all things Kevin Smith. With an insatiable appetite for all things pop-culture related Leith also has an unhealthy addiction to the world of comics and can often be found buried under a pile of unread back issues madly trying to catch up on a number of titles coming out from mostly DC and Darkhorse.
