The Oscars are over for another year with results that were pretty much expected, Seth Macfarlane as host and the show running at a nice 3.5hours. Take a look at the winners below I was relatively happy with this years Oscars, I think Seth Macfarlane was a decent host but I honestly expected better. He was somewhat hilarious with a couple of jokes but the main one that stuck out was when he introduced Meryl Streep and all he said was ‘This actor needs no introduction’ then walks off, it made me laugh pretty hard. I would have liked to have seen Hugh get up and win Best Actor, I thought he deserved it but no one will ever beat the steam train that is Daniel Day-Lewis. Two of the biggest highlights today for me were, ‘Paperman’ winning Best Animated Short Film, its crazy beautiful if you haven’t seen it definitely check it out. And Argo winning best picture, Ben Afflecks speech was amazing and I can’t wait to see what he does next.
