Rock of Ages is due to hit cinemas on the 14th of June and Warner Brothers has passed us the first Music Video for the film. “Any Way You Want It” performed by two of the film’s stars Mary J. Blige and Julianne Hough, plus Constantine Maroulis with a whole bunch of first see footage from the movie. ROCK OF AGES also stars Diego Boneta, Russell Brand, Paul Giamatti, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Malin Ackerman, Bryan Cranston, Alec Baldwin and Tom Cruise.
Rock of Ages is a rock/jukebox musical, with a book by Chris D’Arienzo, built around classic rock hits from the 1980s it’s primarily a stage show but it’s been adapted to a big screen musical. The Rock of Ages stage show toured Australia in 2011 and is currently still running on Broadway and London’s West End.
“Rock of Ages” tells the story of small town girl Sherrie and city boy Drew, who meet on the Sunset Strip while pursuing their Hollywood dreams. Their rock ‘n’ roll romance is told through the heart-pounding hits of Def Leppard, Joan Jett, Journey, Foreigner, Bon Jovi, Night Ranger, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Poison, Whitesnake, and more.
