Sam Mendes war epic 1917 is one continuous shot!

A featurette just dropped for Sam Mendes next film 1917 and its telling us its all one continuous shot! Now that’s a massive undertaking for any film but for one thats set right in the middle of the first world war one that could cause a lot of issues, its actually made me want to see the film even more now.

Sam Mendes, the Oscar®-winning director of Skyfall, Spectre and American Beauty, brings his singular vision to his World War I epic, 1917.

At the height of the First World War, two young British soldiers, Schofield (Captain Fantastic’s George MacKay) and Blake (Game of Thrones’ Dean-Charles Chapman) are given a seemingly impossible mission. In a race against time, they must cross enemy territory and deliver a message that will stop a deadly attack on hundreds of soldiers—Blake’s own brother among them.

1917 opens January 16 2020! Click here to see the trailer. The featurette is below.
