Every year when San Diego Comic-Con comes around a whole bunch of trailers gets released over the weekend, so instead of posting individual articles for each one it seems the smartest way to show you is in one megapost. I’ve also included some new TV series trailers also at the bottom.
First up we have the JUSTICE LEAGUE SDCC Trailer – I’m still totally unsure about this one, with the track record of DC films being rather terrible (obviously other than Wonder Woman) I’m reserving judgement until I see it but so far no trailer has made me gone “wow, I have to see this”
Marvel’s THOR: RAGNAROK obviously I’m a Thor fanboy plus I love anything Taika Waititi so totally down for this.. the trailer does kind of remind me of Guardians though, I’m not sure if thats a good thing.
Stephen Spielberg’s READY PLAYER ONE is based off the sci-fi novel by Ernest Cline set in 2044 it follows Wade Watts as he searches for an easter egg in a virtual reality game; the discovery of which will lead him to inherit a valuable fortune in a world torn by an energy crisis. The film stars Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke, Ben Mendelsohn, Mark Rylance, Simon Pegg, and T. J. Miller.. I’m totally intrigued about this one its Spielberg so that has already spiked my interest – its out March 2018.
Netflix movie BRIGHT.. Humans, Orcs, Elves… everybody is just trying to get along. Get ready for the world of Bright, a new Netflix Original Film, starring Will Smith and Joel Edgerton. Coming to Netflix December 22th.
Fox’s new television series GIFTED – looks interesting and its always nice to see Amy Acker on screen. Directed by Bryan Singer who also serves as Executive Producer the show premiere’s in the states on October 2nd.. no clue if or when we will get to see it here.
Netflix once again with its new series Star Trek: Discovery – when the first trailer was released I wasn’t completely sold on it but will take a look on September 25.
Marvel’s The Defenders – I haven’t really watched anything since Daredevil so I’m not really up on the others but it looks pretty great and with Sigourney playing the villain will be definitely worth checking out August 18.
I expect more trailers to get released so will add to this post if need be.
