Sharlto Copley is a South African actor who was introduced to the world as the character Wikus in Neill Blomkamp’s science fiction film DISTRICT 9 (2009). From there he appeared in the 2010 adaptation of THE A-TEAM, Blomkamp’s ELYSIUM (2013), the science fiction horror film EUROPA REPORT, Spike Lee’s OLD BOY and the dark fantasy adventure film MALEFICENT (2014). He also played the title character in the science fiction film CHAPPIE (2015), Jimmy in Hardcore Henry, starred in two seasons as Christian Walker of the TV series POWERS and recently played Ted Kaczynski (the man who became known as the Unabomber) in the movie TED K (2021).
