Ocean’s 8.. I was really excited about seeing this film until I saw this trailer, the concept and the cast sucked me in but the trailer has done none of that and to be honest it looks boring.. dammit!
The tide has turned and it’s a whole new “Ocean’s” when a group of women team up to plan and execute the ultimate heist in New York. Oscar winner Sandra Bullock (“The Blind Side”) stars in the title role, alongside Oscar winners Cate Blanchett (“Blue Jasmine”) and Anne Hathaway (“Les Misérables”); Richard Armitage (“Berlin Station”), Mindy Kaling (“Inside Out”); Awkwafina (“Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising”); Sarah Paulson (“Carol”), James Corden (“Into the Woods”), with Rihanna (“Annie”) and Oscar nominee Helena Bonham Carter (“The King’s Speech”). The film is directed by Oscar nominee Gary Ross (“Seabiscuit,” “The Hunger Games”). Ross directed “Ocean’s 8” from a screenplay he cowrote with Olivia Milch (“Dude”), story by Ross. Steven Soderbergh and Susan Ekins
Ocean’s 8 opens June 7
Disney’s The Nutcracker & The Four Realms.. it’s a Disney film and I bet its full of whimsy and magic plus its got Morgan Freeman in it so tick, intrigued to see it.
All Clara (Mackenzie Foy) wants is a key – a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift from her late mother. A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer’s (Morgan Freeman) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key—which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It’s there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip (Jayden Fowora-Knight), a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara’s key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world. Starring Keira Knightley as the Sugar Plum Fairy and featuring a special performance by Misty Copeland, Disney’s new holiday feature film “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” is directed by Lasse Hallström and inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann’s classic tale.
