Simon Pegg and Nick Frost – Australian Tour

Universal Pictures has announced the stars from the film PAUL will be heading to Australia at the start of April. I for one are extremely excited about this film and can’t wait to see it, I will say it is quite unfortunate that for pretty much every press tour Perth gets missed out, lets hope that one day that will change! Check out the press release below.

Get ready for a close encounter with comic geniuses Simon Pegg and Nick Frost! The stars of smash hits HOT FUZZ and SHAUN OF THE DEAD will be in Australia at the beginning of April for the release of their extraterrestrial comedy-adventure PAUL.

The British duo, who play a pair of sci-fi geeks that accidentally encounter a wise-cracking alien named ‘Paul’ while on a road trip, will hit the red carpet on Thursday April 7th for the Australian Premiere of PAUL at Hoyts Melbourne Central.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! Pegg and Frost will head to the Melbourne Royal Showgrounds on Saturday April 9th for the Supanova Pop Culture Expo where they will entertain fans with a special Q&A session followed by autograph signings.

The pair will come face-to-face with a ‘Paul’ of a different kind as they cap off their Australian visit with an appearance on Good News Week hosted by comedian Paul McDermott. The episode will be taped in front of a sold-out audience at Melbourne Town Hall as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and will air on Channel Ten on Monday April 11th.

PAUL is the story of two British nerds Graeme Willy (Pegg) and Clive Gollings (Frost) whose pilgrimage through America’s UFO heartland takes an unexpected turn when they meet an alien escapee named Paul. The film’s stellar comedic cast also includes Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, Sigourney Weaver, Blythe Danner and Seth Rogen as the voice of Paul the alien.

PAUL crash lands into cinemas on April 14
