Hello, sweeties! The next wave of Supa-Star guests slated to attend Supanova Comic Con & Gaming in Sydney (21-22 June) and Perth (28-29 June) is materialising, led by TARDIS team mainstay Alex Kingston!
Kingston, who is best known for her extensive tenure on Doctor Who as the time traveler River Song, will make her first-ever Supa-Star appearances in Sydney and Perth, returning to the event after her last trip through space and time landed her in Adelaide and Brisbane in 2022.
Talk about having the tools and the talent! From one sci-fi staple to another, Supanova is proud to welcome Ernie Hudson, the iconic Ghostbuster Winston Zeddemore. Starring in the original 1984 hit, Hudson reprised his fan-favourite role in Ghostbusters II, Afterlife, and Frozen Empire, cameoing in Ghostbusters (2016).
Whether you know her as Star Wars’ Bo-Katan or Battlestar Galactica’s Kara “Starbuck” Thrace, Supa-Fans won’t want to miss Katee Sackhoff, fulfilling her Supa-Star destiny this June. The Longmire actress is joined by series co-star Adam Bartley a.k.a. Sheriff’s Deputy Archie “the Ferg” Ferguson, most recently seen opposite Sissy Spacek and J.K. Simmons in Prime Video’s Night Sky.
Also set to return is Chandler Riggs a.k.a. Carl Grimes on The Walking Dead, who recently had his own turn as the Man of Steel voicing Superman in the animated film Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes & Huntsmen Part One.
Meanwhile, the grandson of the great American icon John Wayne, Brendan Wayne, will make his Supanova debut after notably portraying the Mandalorian himself alongside Pedro Pascal. While Pascal may be the face and voice of Din Djarin, the man in the suit is more often than not Wayne!
Supanova’s June events will also feature international animation sensations alongside previously announced voice actor Neil Fanning (Scooby-Doo). Anjali Bhimani, Overwatch’s Symmetra and Critical Role’s Fy’ra Rai and Phyllis, will bring her A-game to both cities, accompanied in Perth by Matthew David Rudd, Panda in Jujutsu Kaisen, and Shoei Barou in Blue Lock.
Art aficionados will not want to miss international Supa-Star Joe Jusko, renowned for his comic covers, interiors, and trading cards artwork, including his award-winning Marvel Masterpieces line! He is joined by fellow industry legend Liam Sharp, artist of Wonder Woman: Rebirth and The Green Lantern, as well as Joker/Harley: Criminal Sanity’s Mico Suayan.
These stars are the latest additions to Supanova’s June line-up, appearing alongside previously announced Outlander guests; David Berry , Richard Rankin, and Sam Heughan, the latter of whom will attend exclusively as part of Kilted & Distilled: An Outlandish Adventure in Oz, tickets to which will go on sale on Wednesday, 2 April.
General Admission, VIP, and Supa-Q Passes to Supanova in Sydney and Perth will go on sale closer to the events, followed by Autograph and Photograph Tokens. For all the latest news, follow the @SupanovaExpo social media channels and visit the Supanova website.
