Shane Black’s take on the Predator franchise is well into pre-production at this point, with a few casting rumours cropping up recently. The latest of which indicates that Olivia Munn is in negotiations to star in the series.
Recently reports emerged that Boyd Holbrook (Logan, Narcos) will star in the film as a Special Forces commando, while Munn who is coming off her outing as Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse, will take the role of a scientist.
The new film is scheduled to start filming in February 2017, and was recently rumoured to take place in a suburban setting, however Black reached out in response to those reports saying that’s not the case, but he also didn’t offer any clues as to where his film might be set.
It’s already been over 6 years since a Predator film last made it to the big screen and there’s around 18 months to go for the Predator to make another appearance.
