This morning I had the chance to interview one of the sons of Odin Tom Hiddleston, Hiddleston plays LOKI in the upcoming Marvel/Paramount movie THOR. After seeing this movie last week Tom is definitely one to keep a keen eye on in the future, with roles also coming up in a Woody Allen film and also Spielberg’s ‘War Horse’.
I spent about 20 minutes talking to him about the role, working with Sir Anthony Hopkins, Costumes, Kenneth Branagh and just basically getting to know him. I found him extremely down to earth and he loved to talk which for a phone interview it really helps I still had questions but my time ran out. He did say that he still doesn’t know about the Avengers, but he did seem to know a bit about what was going on? So maybe he can’t tell us yet? I for one would love to see Loki return in ‘The Avengers’. My favourite part of the entire interview was of Tom telling us about Anthony Hopkins and even Tom put’s the voice on, I don’t know about you but if I was next to Anthony Hopkins I would be a 13 year old girl at a Justin Bieber Concert or I would just pass out.
Tom is going to have an extremely impressive career I think, his role in THOR and the upcoming War Horse will set him above the rest. I think I will be keeping a close eye on his career.
