It’s only taken 20 years to see a sequel to Independence Day and now we have the first trailer to Independence Day: Resurgence, the film brings back some of the favorites from the original just don’t get too excited there’s no Will Smith but we do have Jeff Goldblum and Bill Pullman they’re joined by Liam Hemsworth, Maika Monroe and Jessie Usher. From director Roland Emmerich and producer Dean Devlin, 1996’s Independence Day shattered opening weekend and total box office records, becoming the year’s top-grossing film. It also became the first movie in history to gross over $500m internationally.
