Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is the first film in the new standalone movies from Lucasfilm. It tells the story of how a group of unlikely heroes unite to undertake a daring and seemingly impossible mission to steal the plans for an ultimate weapon of destruction.
The cast includes Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk and Riz Ahmed. The film will be directed by Gareth Edwards who was behind the camera for such films as Godzilla and Monsters.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens December 15 2016.
