This movie is just getting more and more amazing, the fact that the guys from Disney have let Daft Punk crank out an original score for TRON is just the best idea I’ve heard in years. Tonight we get a first look at their ‘cameo’ in TRON but we also get to hear some of the track called “Derezzed”. For everyone around the world lucky enough to get tickets to TRON NIGHT tomorrow night I expect to see some of these full sequence’s you see in the video I will also be there so expect a full report very soon.
TRON: LEGACY is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that’s unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (GARRETT HEDLUND), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (JEFF BRIDGES), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the digital world of Tron where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant Qora (OLIVIA WILDE), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey of escape across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.
TRON: LEGACY hits Australian Cinema’s on the 16th December and the original motion picture score is composed and produced by Daft Punk and will be released by Walt Disney Records (released locally via Universal Music Australia) on Tuesday, December 8, 2010
