SPUD is currently screening in Limited Release across Australia and the star of SPUD is local Perth boy Troye Sivan he sat down with us at the local cinema last week to chat about Spud, John Cleese, his first on screen kiss and whats coming up.
You may notice his face from a few performances on Telethon and playing young Wolverine back in 2009. Troye is quite the talented young man, hes a singer and has his own YouTube channel with over 4 million views (you also get to see his singing skills in Spud), he’s done quite alot of stage work in which last year he worked opposite Sir Ian McKellan in ‘Waiting for Godot’.
I expect to see bigger and bigger things for Troye in the very near future with hopefully going back to South Africa to shoot Spud 2. Spud is quite the cute film, our review will be up very soon.
