If you think you’ve had enough of vampire movies and tv shows – think again! Universal Studios is releasing another film about the infamous vampire, Dracula.
Luke Evans will be playing Prince Vlad/Dracula, the most famous vampire in history – yes more so than Edward Cullen. Evans will co-star with Zach McGowan, Samantha Barks (LES MISERABLES), Art Parkinson (GAME OF THRONES) and Charlie Cox as well as Thor Kristjansson. Barks will play a beautiful young woman who turns into a savage witch – an eastern European figure reffered to in many old tales. Parkinson will play Draculas son, Ingeras.
The narrative sees a Transylvanian prince risk eternal damnation to save his wife and son from a Turkish Horde.
Gary Shore is set to direct the feature as his debut with an August 2014 release date for the United States.
